The launch of the newest expansion of the Crane Room Grille includes the new CR Brewing Company, which was completed in the summer of 2017. The CR Brewing Company’s grand entrance, brewery, CR Loft, and CR Terrace were designed by Gale Measel and Geoff Measel of GEM, Inc. With the new design of the shared additions to The Crane Room Grille and New Englander Banquet Center, the new spaces pay homage to area’s historic steel mill past, as well as its local brewery history, and the blue collar workers who help make this country great! Our hope was to honor the early 1900 era architectural designs from the historic Elks Lodge by repurposing the 25′ limestone columns from the grand entrance and 54-foot handmade clear-span ribbed arched trusses from the main ballroom while holding true to our values of providing a premium product through our CR operations, including the added CR Brewery offerings and newly built event venues, the CR Loft and the CR Terrace.
Our classic hand-forged brews by our very own head brewer, Bryan McDowell, are a great addition to the great food and beverage already offered by the Crane Room Grille. We’re in the process of developing a brewery-themed menu to be released later this year!
